A new blog for a new endeavor

My greatest joy in Tasmania is getting out in the bush and learning as much as I can about the trees, plants, lichens, rock formations, sea creatures, butterflies, insects, etc. etc. I've been sharing my photographic work on redbubble.com and thought a blog would give me the opportunity to talk more about the natural history part of it than the aesthetic. I will try to blog my attempts to identify the species I have photographed here and highlight different areas that I have visited.

Hope I can find the time to keep this up.
